NG Welfare North West and Gauteng (trading as NG Welfare North West) is the Dutch Reformed Church’s registered welfare organisation in the North West Province and in the Vaal and West-Rand areas of Gauteng. The focus mainly is on rendering social welfare services to children and families in need, but also on caring for older persons. The organisation has available a well-established infrastructure at the 14 welfare offices, 9 homes for the elderly, 8 retirement housing projects, 2 Child and Youth Care Centres (Children’s Homes) and 12 community work service points with a staff corps of 632.
