City of London Club

General information

Based in the heart of the City, ideally positioned just 5 minutes walk from Bank and Liverpool Street stations and close to many other transport links, is the City of London Club.

According to its first members, the Club offered ‘a Place of Useful Resort’ to those of ‘known respectability’ in the City.

Since 1832, important City figures such as the first Duke of Wellington, Sir Robert Peel and the original Rothschild family have used the Club to relax in good company and comfortable, elegant surroundings.

Our impressive heritage is matched by our excellent range of facilities. We provide everything you would expect for modern events, conferences and meetings in the most elegant setting you will find in the City and you are not required to be a member to book.

Our event spaces can accommodate groups of all sizes, from a small business meeting for 2, dinner up to 100 and up to 300 people for a drinks reception.

We also have some outside space, the beautiful roof terrace available for exclusive hire as part of our Garden room.
